Spring Shredding Event in Irvine

May 17, 2014 9am to 12noon

City_of_IrvineJoin us for a Spring Shredding Event in Irvine on Saturday, May 17th. The City of Irvine sponsors several clean-up events for their lucky residents.

Open to City of Irvine Residents

One of the perks of living in the City of Irvine is their clean-up events. The upcoming Spring Shredding Event is open to all Irvine residents. You can drop off up to five banker boxes full of paper… and watch it shredded while you wait. No muss. No fuss. Document destruction handled fast and with a smile.

Spring Shredding Event Details

There are two Irvine locations for this Spring Shredding event:

Heritage Community Park
14301 Yale Avenue

Lakeview Senior Center
20 Lake Road

We’ll be accepting paper shredding between 9am to noon on Saturday, May 17. Find those papers with sensitive and confidential information and fill up our truck!

The Spring Shredding Event is not just about paper. Local charitable organizations will be on hand to accept gently used clothing. So bring your boxes of paper to be shredded plus clothing donations.

Irvine’s Ongoing Recycling Programs

One of the reasons why Sergeant Shredder loves Irvine is their commitment to community and the environment. They have these ongoing recycling programs for Irvine residents:

  1. Free Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off: available Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 3pm. A maximum of 15 gallons or 125 pounds can be accepted at 6114 Oak Canyon Avenue in Irvine.
  2. Bulk Item Collection: arrange to have discarded electronics and appliances (like computers, TVs, old refrigerators) via Waste Management.

Will we see you Saturday at this Spring Shredding Event?
